Loki Catfishing as Jehovah

God created a universe far too vast to oversee. He neither governs human affairs nor intervenes on earth, instead delegating tasks to local gods. Concerned with greater matters than the opinions of hairless apes, he takes notice of the earth only periodically, usually judging its developments as error and unleashing cataclysmic restarts.

Loki, the prankster god, recognized the flimsiness of this decentralized outsourcing and exploited it for amusement, creating contradictory religions out of slave protests and seeding each with ambiguity opposed to reason. Though the primary target of his prank was God, his secondary target was credulous humans who though initially deceived, would benefit by wisdom when they unraveled Loki's puzzle.

Like a deceptive dating profile, Loki masqueraded as Jehovah, a supposedly kind but troubled supernatural entity whose fragile psychology required constant praise and attention, as well as money to keep up his expansive lifestyle. This epic catfishing was calculated for effectiveness and would be hilarious when eventually discovered by the real god.

Loki enchanted the lost by promising easy answers, offering them an oversimplification so they would never have to experience life or think much about it, yet would consider themselves wise and reasoned for following ideas and opinions of others. He pitched himself as an authority, loudly asserting his personality. With clever nuance, Loki wrapped his teachings in a combination of seven sins they were advised to avoid, so if they had a moment of honest introspection, they would realize the prank to which they had fallen victim.

Loki was munificent in his hints, wanting to be discovered so his joke could be appreciated rather than spent for naught. He told stories crafted as miracles, such as the comedy of a virgin trollop explaining her accidental pregnancy by a secret lover as a miracle, to the cuckolded chagrin of Joseph whom she married for food and shelter, but did not find sexually attractive.

These miracle stories deny the known world and invoke magic as their explanation, asking the listener to have faith they are caused by the powers of a secret invisible force, with no consideration that they might more simply be told by crazy liars from a region where that is normal. And if these tales are believed, then much more than can told to those eager to be swept away with wondrous stories.

Loki gave them ambiguous texts separated from spirituality so they would be forced to seek real spirituality from a hunger for it, finding no satisfaction in purposeless, untranscendental slavery required to worship a spiteful god of limited power and ability.

Some call the God of the Middle East wicked for trying to turn humans away from knowledge by labeling it a sin that leads to awareness of the world. He declares himself to be an entity of good who loves you, but appears as a demonic force of cruelty, violence, and control, enacting misery to gain strength.

The Middle Eastern religions fixate on fear and sin, thus provoking and strengthening it. They further connect the worst of their cultivated instincts to the supernatural, defining them as external to humanity, and wishing for the external to envelope and dominate their lives.

Its people were in need of being told not to murder each other, steal, and covet each other's women and oxen. They were stupid, backwards savages at war with one another two thousand years ago in an era of instability and endless war in the middle east.

The Middle Eastern religions organized for growth. They sought leaders who wished to guide believers and enjoy a high position in the community. They captured children at birth, indoctrinated families, and took their money for its buildings and marketing efforts. They sought to spread and crush older religions, destroying every remnant from sacred groves to knowledge, replacing it by with their beliefs imposed by blood and sword.

They primarily sought city folk for conversion, as these were the most gullible and empty. People who lived in the countryside lived harmoniously with nature and did not attend to frivolous fads and social trends.

Loki loves a mischievous prank. He took the neurosis of the region and formed three overlapping religions with core tenets, then posed them against one another to watch the crazed people squabble and justify their battles with doctrinal explanations, predating on one another ad infinitum.

Middle Eastern religions propose
  • a way to bypass and overtake nature through supernatural manipulation
  • waiting as a way to dissuade necessary action
  • ready-made explanations to deter thinking and curiosity
  • duty to inhibit creativity and consideration of alternatives

The holiest of a tradition should be dynamic exemplars of faith and spirituality, but instead they are decrepit hollow husks, just as academics are not the intellectually inspiring vanguards of thought, but tired and boring administrators lacking vitality and creative ideas.

We take a few steps back from the freak show and Loki's twisted comedy comes into focus, a cute joke that kindly informs and warns us not to be so easily led into schemes lain for the profit of others.

Much to Undo

The come with smiles and generous altruism, yet wreck what was already excellent because they impose from outside with motives of capturing and controlling what others created A motley group of misfits entered the quiet old town: a carnival barker, a priest, a fool, and a used car salesman. They were selling progress packaged as the ideal society made of ideal formed humans of fantastical beliefs, a type of perfection all the rage in large cities, in need of being brought to remote placid locations to make all lives better in the new style.

There were several structural changes needed to make progress fit. Schools would no longer educate for traditional skills, knowledge, and critical reasoning, but instead will teach social justice to tell people they are identical and success was about luck. Therefore they should be kind, accepting, and tolerant of bad outcomes, quietly encouraging blame, covetousness, and other failures of character. Someone else will have to pay for their proliferate consequences.

Crooked leaders will loudly attract attention to captivate with a compelling vision of a world that doesn't exist and is probably not desirable, though the fiction makes some feel good and demand what charlatans tell them they deserve. Entertainment and media will join in to push and pull, corrupting consciousness with delicious images and narcotic chimeras.

Bitter adults will be inspired to mutter about secret conspiracies keeping them from being equal and possessing what they see others have. Cultivated envy will encourage people to dislike the organized and active, and many will want to rage in frustration to destroy the decent parts of society so everything can be ravaged equally into useless rubble wrecked of potential.

Decline and disarray created by politicians makes opportunities for new political solutions. Additional laws and initiatives are forced on the people, paid for with money they earned. Self-sufficient farming communities and developed societies are in need of more Moroccans and will receive many more to make things better through more division and decline.

The scam artists quickly set up shop, preached their message, promoted their need for generous donations to perform their important work, got politicians on their side for favorable access and corporations eager to cut corners with cheap labor hiding costs pushed elsewhere, spurred graft and outright fraud, and entangled themselves into the infrastructure, which eventually led to their undoing as people began questioning why everything they touched became qualitatively worse and degraded, though was officially sanctioned as the utopia of the future no one wanted or needed.

The selfless purveyors of progress then bailed when things got hairy, moving to the next opportunistic target, leaving an eyesore and tremendous damage in their wake. There was much to clean up until the people could get back to where they used to be before the big predation.

Mind over Matter

Considering implications is rare, yet essential to the processing of any idea, without which all opinions consist only of repeating phrases that sound good or are socially popular, yet lack any correspondence with reality or even a basic strategy or purpose. Rather than writing off someone who is wasting their life away with frivolity, assume they will come out of their tailspin in a few years. This requires honest and innocent belief in the possibility, and is helped with the mantra: they will be fine in five years. After a few utterances it becomes easy to give them plenty of space and time to work through everything they need to.

The respect for autonomy is premised on the faith that if left to their own devices, they will gradually become self-aware and gain control of their facilities, at which point they will cease what is harmful and degrading.

If you intervene to point out an error, can they be expected to gain consciousness of errors so they can begin perceiving them generally?

If you intervene to teach the merits of an idea, will they become engines of thought, or repeaters of a single concept?

If you intervene to instill sensible behavior, do they gain ability for pragmatic aims, or as followers of a command?

Demonstrating improvements they could make often insults from its implications of their actions in the past and present. Getting close to their potential does not interest them, nor the opportunities of life it would unlock. Mentioning great value about to be lost forever is not a winning argument either. You must look away from this terrible squandering and say nothing, or the energies of their potential will surely be expended in social arguments fighting to stay unrefined.

Their struggle is solely against themselves, a fierce and wily opponent they must master. They must know not to give in and become tamed into weary dispassion, nor to accept rules made by others for others, nor tolerate distractions, nor seek hiding in finery, but to discover the fitting purpose that belongs to them.

As nothing told to them will be considered enough for its root to be internalized, they must see for themselves what everyone else wishes could be shown them, and they they must decide they want a good outcome enough that they will do what is needed to deserve it.

Old Unreadable Texts

The best of the elders gathered. Each had watched thousands of cases over many generations and considered which outcomes were desirable and which ended terribly, taking care to contemplate and understand their causes, mistakes, and process of decision. They sought to finalize their observations in a compressed form, distilling them into simple rules so all their people could benefit from this wisdom and move onto better aims than individually repeating unnecessary error.

After several generations of following these teachings, the mass had been separated from most error and no longer understood the reasons for the rules. They began questioning these teachings and even mocking those who honored and sought their wisdom, for they no longer had sight of how situations unfurled, nor their danger or prospects for loss. They instead believed that all outcomes were equally attainable, no matter their prerequisites or choices that carried doomed inevitability.

The compressed form of rules was an error of communication. While an excellent shortcut to an answer, the instinct of rebellion made each rule unstable, necessitating a voluminous explanation of every situation each elder observed, their common threads, and the reasons for the inherent factors of difficulty and capitulation that could be accurately predicted.

If another group of elders were to appear again and think it worthwhile to encourage the mass to avoid self-destructive errors, they would need to produce a well documented long-form explanation as a compendium to the rules. Unfortunately, the mass no longer reads books or seeks wisdom. The summarized brevity by the wise was an error, and no second opportunity for correction would appear.

Unreasonable people are common. Their behavior removes positive expectations and imposes loss, gently reminding that we will all soon be gone forever, having forsaken our temporary good fortune of infinite possibility.

Should you be drawn into their strange sabotage, vice, outbursts, accusations, and explanations, you will be taken to a dead end. You can watch them turn to drugs, religious devotion, ideology, corporatism, hedonism and other distractions that occupy time and avoid contacting anything purposeful.

Loki's mirror mocks them by revealing substance that stifles lies and silly expectations.

Removing Bad Motives

Here's something that sounds like everything else, but this one is unique because it repeats the exact same themes and structure, and you wouldn't want to hear anything more interesting that wanders into new territory because that's not as comfortable as staying where you are forever and buying the same product ad infinitum. Pop bands and music labels complain they can no longer profit from musical recordings, instead having to earn a living through live performance and merchandise. There are now a million redundant bands, all able to use inexpensive technology to record professionally in their bedrooms, indistinguishable in their allegiance to conventional composition themes and phrases, almost none venturing beyond appeal to the mass of boring consumers who can be used to fund their desired wealth. Accordingly, their product is generic and competes with a million other indistinct products in a monotonous marketplace abundant with boring repetition and bad copies of what has been done better before.

You could have been a rockstar, if only you did something interesting that others cared about.

Was their drive to make music for money and fame, or to compose exceptional music because they could? Taking away the prospects of money and fame removes unscrupulous salesmen who create products and promote them so they can be bought by dupes.

Folk music was created by the folk for the folk. Local musicians created simple music based on inspiration for the moment, and dancers choreographed steps, and these spread to nearby villages like seeds of a plant, the better ones staying around longer in repertoires. Songs carried into homes and the fields, some voices better than others, sung because they appealed to the singer, not music companies selling copies. On weekend evenings, musicians performed these the best they could for locals, including those who created them. The village enjoyed the music and no profit was made, nor was their a market when people created for themselves.

An entire industry of selling music equipment exists through the promotion of the rockstar fantasy and the notion that one more effect is needed, or purchasing a slightly superior acoustic element will suddenly make the difference and propel a mediocre talent to prominence.

Aesthetics are a fine addition, but substance is essential. Beauty indisputably reveals itself in nakedness and cannot be created through a display of external accessories one has collected to distract from an unimpressive nature.

Pressing Into the World

Pressed tight between thumb and forefinger, the foam earplugs yield and crush compressed into their most compact form. The small nub fits snugly into the ear canal and slowly unfolds into expansion. It aspires for its unhindered size, squeezing out and pressing into the world. It becomes like a fast acting opiate blocking out noise and irrelevant frivolity until you are all alone in perfection, made better for the absolute clarity. Excess sloughs away and seems silly, provoking laughter as it is pushed away and consciousness is immediately improved by its absence, with realizations that its daily tolerance is a ridiculous social habit of accepting what does no one any good.

It yearns to reach the boundaries. Just a little blocked at first, then gradually more, and finally blissfully smothering all.

What matters had nothing to do with the extraneous noise that so much likes to make of itself.

Avoiding Self-Defeat

British culture encodes an anti-sabotage prescription of "keep a stiff upper lip", which means to persevere without making dramatic displays of pain, doubt, and other normal dissuasions that accompany efforts to achieve goals.

Complaints destroy morale and persuade even the complainer to give in to weakness from discomforts, needing no rational assessment of the goal's near attainability or consideration that complaints are the primary obstacle to success, and their introduction is the most damaging wound, an attack made worse because it is self-inflicted.

We measured the tasks constituting our plan, accepted that we would encounter difficulties, and take pains to complete what we said we would. To whine grievously and undermine our past decision is to nullify will and spirit, as if we are unfit for life and despise it.

Instead, we affirm all, and continue on our mission without petty hysterical chatter.

Higher Debt Miseducation

If the right to a college degree was rescinded and schools returned to previous high standards of educational instruction, the intellectual class would be restored and with it high cultural standards would return, with art and values based on attainable aspirational ideals instead of cheap hedonism and envious escapist fantasies.

The mass of mediocre 105-115 IQs with degrees would no longer remain loud as privileged standard makers. Instead, only the gifted interested in learning would go to universities, and curricula could return to their pre-flood levels. This would protect the public from credentialed idiots spouting mob opinions for popularity and promoting destructive political and social ideas as progress because they have never thought much about those issues, considered the implications of what they promote, or studied the topics on which they provide guidance for others.

In this return to sanity, practical and known solutions would regain prominence, and there would no longer be political will to waste money on fantasy actions that neither solve problems nor change anything for the better.

Technical Skepticism

When your cell phone breaks, you get to experience a communication detoxification. Calm uninterrupted consciousness returns, like natural reclaiming abandoned paved human settlements.

No more random incoming text blasts with the neurosis of the moment. No phone calls of companies selling trash no one needs. And one less things to carry around and maintain.

Though you can't call people while driving anymore, your quality of life quickly improves by being unmodern, and you might be opting out of unknown cancer risks.

There is relief to the imposition of convenience.

Ruins prove there was once a great people and culture, but they lost sight of the path, were corrupted, made weak, no longer knew their souls, and spent themselves on error, bringing about their end. They did not correct their error in time, and thus perished. There's no need to measure its soul when it can be plainly examined.

Does it function well or is it falling apart in disrepair with no help in sight?

It is healthy or decrepit?

Growing more beautiful or ever more ugly?

Was it once strong and vibrant but now confused, self-contradicting, weak, lost, lashing out, and exhausted?

Does it produce timeless art, or has that ability long passed?

Is it becoming smarter or dumber? More noble or less?

Does it find itself confounded by simple problems that were previously settled and solved, now paralyzed and unable to give any honest or straight answer?

Does it look away from larger problems, categorizing them as off-limits, and attacking those who wish to discuss them?

Does it welcome discussion of ideas and consideration of their merits, or does it offer doctrinal repetition in place of critical thinking?

Does its future appear to be assured of upward refinement or chaotic decline? Will it one day be able to show any valuable achievements, or will it be judged for its lack of great works and the entire project finally abandoned as a costly mistake? Are good creations of its time achieved separate from its values and only despite its heavy hand?

Many cannot be coerced to join the unhealthy and act against the good. What will it do with such inconvenient counter-demonstrations?

Romantic Targets

Hollywood depicts romances and love as a spaced out deer in the headlights experience, but that is just the business of "creatives" paid to repeat popular misconceptions and cliches.

Love is wild magic, a whirlwind of desire revealing passion for the other, teasing and tempting it to explore the entries of its promised treats and come inside, plunged to fullness with abandon.

Love stirs a prolonged depth that is difficult to access but fulfilling when reached. Romance is the art of provoking this stirring.

The romantic sights and senses what is possible and then seeks to taste it.

Love cast no limits or rules -- all avenues are open and welcoming.

The romancier vigorously probes by instinct. He wanders from surplus of opportunity and desire, but does not vacillate when he finds exactly what he has been seeking.

Why Polytheism?

Polytheism is appealing not just as a bedrock traditional religious form, but by deduction of the natural world and experience of its blessings.

Monotheism debunks itself the same way as communism. If extended for a short while it will collapse over its structure as a centralized entity running the world by pandering to and providing for the vapid, lazy, dumb, and defective, while penalizing the strong, wise, creative, and healthy. This sounds appealing to a specific demographic of basket cases, but this mass gathering can never sustain the weight of its wretched characteristics.

November 14, 2014

When you are being empowered, someone is inadvertently being honest and has decided you are unable to accomplish basic tasks for yourself. They create equality between the athlete and the invalid cripple by temporarily paralyzing the capable and then manipulating the cripple to simulate movements he cannot make for himself.

The motivation to empower is secondarily suspect. What are they getting in exchange for temporarily propping up the least capable? It is cruel to say the unfit can do the same as the fit, not only for creating false hopes that will never come true, but for projecting the illusion of a normative egalitarian world that lacks exceptional qualities and acts.

Measuring Function isn't a Moral Judgment

Jeff was a highly competent manager, showing discipline and organization, affording him career success and a good income. At home he was a loser and nobody. He lacked interests, had no artistic appreciation -- preferring popular junk over anything well conceived, and showed an utter absence of intellectual curiosity. Instead, he consumed ballgames, highlights of ballgames, and talk shows about ballgames, best enjoyed with copious alcohol, only interrupted by the latest shows and Hollywood movies.

Lauren was useless. She didn't do anything when not in the HR department. Home was a place to eat and sleep, though she ate at fast food drive-through too. She was loyal to her job and social circle. She had no aspirations outside of work, and enjoyed people for entertainment.

Their flaws were worse together. Cause likely fed effect, developing into a tight co-evolutionary spiral. Each was respectable when paid to perform in a professional environment, but when free and private, both were common disasters.

November 10, 2014

Heisenbergian Knots

Conversing about another's relation to an important topic often will not correct defective behavior or its underlying causes, but only serves to provoke reaction that agitates and inflames toward no productive end, preemptively aborting a positive resolution and leaving the unacceptable problem to continue unabated.

Those who cannot handle directness and impersonal discussions about function might do better seeing examples of others who are making similar mistakes, abstract talk about ideas without any particular conclusive direction, and other open-ended streams of thought that might take months or years for them to realize are also closely related to their lives.

Whether from poor forethought, faulty instincts, inflated ego, or prior psychological damage, the emotional attachment to a ritualistic pattern prevents honest self-evaluation and empathy, condemning the subject to solipsistic acts of destruction that come with a fully equipped defensive system poised to protect it from interruption of its routine or critical evaluation of behavior. It aggressively repels anything that would call its accustomed actions into question as it burrows in deep like a drug addiction or religious doctrine that justifies itself as the center of the universe, never permitting sight of a larger context that reveals its spurious assumptions or alternative possibilities.

Do we even want honesty or truth? With words we reflexively say yes, but with actions we prove no.

Make it Better

The goal of developed civilizations should be to increase the birth rate of great creations: works of high culture and art that invoke awe from their depth of creativity, succinct expression, and profound insight. We should be increasing and improving, not decreasing, debasing and stifling, the strong and beautiful people of positive outcomes, indomitable will, natural intuition, and belief in the instincts whose unhampered essence has gifted mankind for centuries with the best works yet attained.

We have the means to accomplish this outcome now, but choose not to, instead promoting formulas and inculcated approaches that are unnatural and produce sterile results no one wants or enjoys, yet socially tolerate because they commonly occur.

Manning Up for Modern Marriage

My friend Jeff was under a lot of pressure to marry his girlfriend Lauren of two years. Some cited tradition as the impetus, though nearly all traditional foundations of civilization that work in conjunction with marriage have been discarded or only linger on in inferior and degraded forms.

He's the classic breadwinner type, working as a project manager at a large consulting company. After a long day of smothering chaotic fires with calm structure and a pragmatic attitude, all he wants to do is go back to his well furnished home, see his two happy dogs, and decompress from work. He was a lot more energetic in college before the toll of his job left him somewhere between burned out and demoralized.

Lauren doesn't help make home life relaxing. She's a Human Resources consultant which means bringing drama home with late night phone calls, texting, and email. When not talking about the problems her coworkers caused her that day, and reacting to their wacky situations, she repeats the principles of HR tasks as if about to be tested to prove her knowledge, forever mentally chained to her cube in servitude to her temporarily loyal employer.

Sundays are Jeff's day of leisure. He'll watch 6 hours of football, grill on the deck, and drink freely to clear his head out for another week of labor. College football doesn't really appeal to him, so he spends Saturdays and many evenings in his garage where he can work on mechanical projects alone, and occasionally light woodworking.

Lauren is thoroughly modern, so doesn't know how to cook, clean, or contribute to running the house, but tries to remember to order takeout and encourage Jeff to keep her fed. They've got a Colombian maid to keep the house spotless so Jeff can enjoy the fruits of his labor. He finds her cute and started hooking up with her on the side because his wife was typically consumed with work and not particularly interested in him. She was a feminist in college and once swore off men until finding a way to appreciate Jeff. Jeff thinks she might silently tolerate his outlet with the maid, though is unsure and doesn't discuss his surrogate affection arrangement.

Jeff's plan is to keep switching jobs every 2-3 years until he hits 65, and then retire somewhere sunny and inexpensive like Belize or Costa Rica. Lauren is more about the treats of the moment, like good ice cream and cupcakes.

I give them two more years before they admit to being modern and irreconcilable.

October 25, 2014

No matter what we profess to believe in public for effect and assertion of persona, what we really believe is captured in incontrovertible usage of language that all using it unambiguously understand.

If he does that, may the good lord help him.
If he does that, he will be all alone, abandoned with no one to help him and many who will opportunistically take advantage of his weakness.

What happens to him is up to the lord.
What happens to him is whatever he can finesse from a barren situation where he is left alone to the craft of his own devices.

Praise Allah for his actions.
No one caused the event except those who did it, though it is gratuitously asserted by those who approve of the outcome that it is the judicial desire of the universe.

Just as those who talk about heaven or the world ending at a date in the near future don't have any actual belief in those, religious phrases are quaint things to say in public, like blessing someone after a sneeze to keep evil spirits away. How thoughtful to cast helpful spells against invisible forces!

Lazy use of language leads to a long maze of lies and fantasy worlds.

October 18, 2014

Failure and Illusion

Wolves eat opportunistically, clearing away the weak, injured, old, and no longer able to defend themselves, a measure that is proxy for ability to take constructive action and live according to natural demands One is called a curmudgeon if they point out things that don't work, have never worked, and will never work.

Its opposites are the neo-hippie who dreams of new world scenarios and then calls them true and attainable by virtue of once imagining them, and the priest who professes to be a messenger of invisible worlds and future promised lives he knows of through secret access reached by total obedience to hopeful belief and rejection of nature.

You can consider how past or present situations could have been easily changed from bad or banal to excellent, or envision tremendous future situations, but just as the past and present wasn't attained, the future will be similarly botched and offer little. The wretched and miserable becomes tolerated, which means ignored as reluctant background noise no one wants, yet accepts as imposed by forces of depravity.

Many people support an ideology, not because they believe it is true, but because they think advocating it provides a foothold of revenge against people they wish to harm and blame for personal failures.

In times of great dysfunction and inability, ideology detaches from reason and reality, instead offering magical solutions and soundbites to sooth the broken. There is a large audience of the unstable who silently rage within and will happily destroy the well constituted and all civilization for the perception or promise of selfish gain. A savvy political class aware of this constituency will gladly feed them illogical pleasing notions in exchange for loyalty.

Our politics and religion creep into language, corrupting and degrading it. We no longer find any cause, i.e. reason or functional aspect, but instead ascribe blame, a scapegoat symbol or powerless actor standing in for the actual cause, or defer action to a vague passive tense, e.g. "mistakes were made" without acknowledging reasons, poor judgment, or functional deficiencies.

from Hebrew: `azàzèl
1: a goat upon whose head are symbolically placed the sins of the people after which he is sent into the wilderness in the biblical ceremony of Yom Kippur
2 a: one that bears the blame for others
b: one that is the object of irrational hostility

"He shall take the two goats and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.
"Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for the LORD and the other lot for the scapegoat.
"And Aaron shall bring the goat on which the LORD'S lot fell, and offer it as a sin offering.
"But the goat on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make atonement upon it, and to let it go as the scapegoat into the wilderness.
[Leviticus 16:7-10]

Anyone offering scapegoats is a fraud. The scapegoat is a substitute for knowledge and function, and if removed by death, brainwashing, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, imprisonment, or other enlightened policies, the same problems persist unchanged, only with different actors and a costume change as some switch from victimized sheep into feasting wolves now confident they can exert advantage and deserve to oppress others.

Priests of the scapegoat tradition claim the offering of an illusion allows people to vent frustration and excuses, exhausting false explanations and madness until the subject becomes comfortable starting anew without mental crutches diverting their will from productive and sensible ends.

The promulgation and promotion of scapegoat thinking suggests the entire concept should be unceremoniously mocked, tagged with GPS radios, and exiled to the deep desert to be tracked whenever it emerges to menace civilization.

Functional Alcoholism

There's nothing creative about where you put your keys, wallet, or cell phone, and time spent looking for them is only wasted.

Functional alcoholics arrange their daily lives so they can perform at the level of average people by not expending effort on routine tasks by transforming them into complex dramas. The drinker's perception of the world might be minimized, and still they'll be able to locate their keys, wallet, and cell phone perfectly, as those live in one place and are methodically returned there.

Solve the trivial so it no longer imposes on greater aims.

October 13, 2014

Media is a Victim Too

The media is victimized by the public and acts out from prolonged abuse and unresolved trauma. Media needs people to pay attention to it so it can sell commercials to convince a credulous public to part with their money for shoddy products they don't need that will make them unhealthy.

Making people pay attention to news items is difficult because politics, entertainment, sports, and crime are terribly banal subjects, so media tries to dress up a boring learning disabled pig in whore's makeup and then treats it very seriously with a phony presentation in an effort to fool people into thinking it is a fascinating genius beauty queen.

Media tries to amuse the public by telling childish stories, repeating popular misconceptions, simplistic viewpoints, comfortable lies, and naïve optimistic fantasies, often returning to reference fables like Robin Hood, David and Goliath, and other favorites of the failed and downtrodden who seek their advantage through revenge against the capable, wise, active, and resourceful.

Media manufactures lurid perspective and villains to distort truth into standardized narratives, carefully avoiding any discussions about the ineptness of common people, their lack of planning, their opposition to good results and sensibility, and their use of false motives to disguise empty broken selfishness. Nuance is unwelcome and detailed facts are shorn away to fit stories into entertaining patterns that can be reused frequently to arouse drama and outrage.

Reporters are forced to write stories at a third-grade level while falsely flattering their readers as being informed, concerned, thoughtful, enlightened, and able to connect simple events. Every story can only be discussed superficially and as if disconnected from all historical preparatory events and consequences. No critical analysis or insight into failed policies, ideology, behavioral traits, or anything important is possible because those would upset consumers and be interpreted by narcissists as unwelcome criticism, creating a poor environment for peddling useless products to consumers.

News is regular in its manufacturing, whether formed as a daily program, newspaper, weekly magazine, or frequently published internet site. It must churn out constantly new stories to fill pages and minutes with material, even if nothing important has taken place. It stretches with filibustering to make 3 minutes of news take an hour (with 22 minutes of commercials) and three sentences stretched into a babbling article of 1500 words.

Media treats everything with equality, inflating the trivial and flatly reporting the essential, both as if told by someone with advanced Alzheimer's, unaware of what happened five minutes ago, much less a week, year, decade, or century ago. Every story is isolated, random, and dramatic, depicted as yet another an irrational event of entertainment to be spectated from afar and puzzled over as meaningless confusion imposed by strange actors.

The measure of media is ratings, clicks, and circulation counts striving for the highest number possible to maximize profit, with substance, objective truth, quality, and relevance neither measured nor considered. Only the new is reported, not ever reference to events in even the past that have come to be seen in new light. Disposable novelty is essential to the entertainment product.

Media once had better people as an audience. In retargeting towards people without critical thinking skills, it masterfully gains popularity but fails to inform, or worse -- informs incorrectly with soothing deceptive flattery.

Exploratory Education

One way to learn is to cast your sails to the wind and go where you are called, throwing yourself into the most desirable prospects and winning thereby the full weight and momentum of all mistakes. If you are rich enough, you can go beyond the initial blood and anguish in overcoming inertia, and eventually reach a vantage sure to rend your beliefs and expectations as you contemplate the substance of joys, miseries, barrenness, and mysteries you have brought to awareness. This approach quickly dispels all polite book theories and television fiction about the nature of the world and possibility.

At worst you will destroy your soul or bring upon yourself lifelong suffocating burdens, but the cause will be clearly apparent, and this alone is an education obtained for a bargain, sure to make you a master of one subject. Even if you risk losing everything, this is no great loss, for polished brass tacks glimmer before you that will inevitably become acknowledged, and no one should expect very much from a sloganized civilization in denial of its decrepitude.

Social customs develop from adoption of approaches that demonstrate a functional purpose. What later appears to be obvious alternatives to these are usually faulty approaches not adopted by sensible people, though memory and sense are rare, and determination to cheat reality remains powerful. Fools, rascals, and the hurried among us employ shortcuts and imposture, rendering many into living warning signs that show us what happens down unlit paths.

But there is also the possibility that beyond every common, known, and easily calculated outcome, someone takes sight of a destination or opportunity that no one has previously attempted. No folklore or historical tales tell of it, no elders can offer wisdom about it, no scientist has ever considered it, and no accurate assessment of value or danger is possible as both possibilities are boundlessly speculable.

Each gambler uses their own personal considerations for how much he is willing to lose for a possible gain, what conjecture and imagined hints suggest might be won, what comparable or superior future prospects are likely -- and promptly discards all these for the feelings of the moments, being neither reasonable nor concerned with achieving good outcomes, but invested solely in the dramatics of the gamble.

Legalize consequences

If the government lets you do whatever you feel like with your body, then pay for your own child support, abortions, health insurance, and welfare, as these are expensive and a direct consequence of your choices.

You can have total freedom if the total costs are accounted for and covered, not merely hidden and passed on to society to pay for your selfish recklessness.

You can ride a motorcycle without a helmet so long as you have insurance to pay for the ambulance crew, accident cleanup, medical/burial expenses, and compensation to the many drivers you have occupied and inconvenienced as a result of your collision. You'll need coverage of around $100,000 on average.

If you want to have children, make sure you can pay for their food, clothing, and schooling, around $20,000 a year. If you're a neglectful parent, please also make payments for their future prison expenses just as good parents would for a college fund.

Take whatever drugs you want and get unlimited abortions when you can afford the medical and psychological care, and can compensate others for the damage you cause by narcissistic behavior.

You can have unlimited rights to act wildly, without sense and purpose, but only if you first accept responsibility for your actions.

Once denial of consequences is overcome, and you consider your behavior within the scope of civilization, you probably won't want to act like an individualist imagining themselves separate from society on an island of personal indulgence.

Cheering for the Underdog

The fit and unfit stand side by side; the underdog wishing to unseat the well constituted, needing only to breed, as the social services sufficient to sustain his brood are paid for by the fit in a long game of population replacement masquerading as civilization.

They cheer for the underdog because the victory of the underdog means the overturning not only of ability and refinement, but a negation of nature's cruel judgment. Why not have the wretched and inferior triumph and spread widely, diluting or ideally revengefully wiping out the exceptional? Such a rush to return to mud huts!

It wishes that greatness needs not many generations of good breeding and preparation through tremendous efforts, but merely has to show up to defeat and take the place of their superiors. Cheering for this narrative betrays a lust for mediocrity and destruction of ascending life.

Vocal Fry

Serious and diligent are not sufficient. They are a fine attempt, but more is required.

Vocal fry is pretense and an affect that goes slow and grinds, attempting to to appear powerful and imply competence. There is a main vocalization consisting of a normal and natural tone, and then a layered fry as a secondary texturization that introduces a gravelly distortion to lower the tone as a pseudo masculinization, effectively adopting masculine standards as universal while eliminating femininity.

We should fight such imitations so women can become females again.

Essential Tasks

The ego can be disposed of like useless trash, and the self refined into merely an instrument capable of action.

It doesn't matter who performs essential tasks, only that they get done.

Eternal Principles

Service of eternal principles is not an à la carte action, but requires the upholding of several intertwined totalities. If one part falls, the shared strength collapses and the others follow soon to unite in collapse. Therefore, uphold the health of the whole or accept utter negation.

No Second Chances

Failure sets us back, pushing humanity closer into the waiting jaws of the abyss. We are the tip of the spear, and if we fail our objective and purpose, the whole is lost forever, with all that was once achieved obliterated and forgotten for all time. Perhaps nature will offer another chance in a few hundred thousands years, or perhaps never again in this solar system. The fragile strand holds for now and we can sleep safely by the precipice, but all could easily collapse in short order.

September 20, 2014

Circular Limbo

Up and down on the tracks leading back to a circle that goes nowhere, yet its movement provides the illusion of going somewhere Erratic and undirected behavior comes from inner pain and emptiness, usually initially imposed by others, whether deliberately or accidentally, and then sustained by repeated self-inflictions to maintain a baseline of misery and coping. It then grows into self-preservation like a clever opiate habit creating phantom pain to invent a premise for the necessity of further drug consumption, which when mixed with stimulants becomes a dramatic closed circular roller coaster track rich with rousing highs and lows cycling continually in a perpetually moving limbo.

To help them escape, you have to smash the habitual apparatus that enables these rides. Intervening to stop a particular excursion will just mean another misadventure soon thereafter. To solve this violence, you just remove the thirst for pursuing false beliefs about what could or will be reached.

There is a cause, but not a reason -- at least not what can be fixed by acknowledgment of reason or quests to gather additional information. Thus those avenues must be discarded as we are surely not solving a problem lacking information or reason. Its foundation is irrational circuitry faulty in its processing of patterns, followed by an elaborate justification of behaviors based on valuations that are patently unrealistic and untrue.

With enough analysis we could assign proximate cause, fault, and blame to third parties, and still this looking backwards and ascribing long cultivated problems to the past actions of others, even if accurate, doesn't help or begin to address present dysfunction. Just as almost no religious adherent believes in the actuality of the supernatural reality they profess, but rather believes in the charming idea of that faith as the justification for upholding it, the broken are desperate not for a solution as much as relief from the hopelessness of eternal nothingness. Yet a solution that removed them from bankrupt investments in surrogates would also allow them to return to a meaningful existence.

Accordingly, rehabilitation requires brutal acceptance of all things with their plain and actual properties, disavowal of magical thinking along with recognition of its past primacy, and separation from dependence on stimulation, immediacy, and belief in need.

You watch people spend their whole lives on the roller coaster and begin to wonder that maybe they don't really want to get free and fix anything. They've become accustomed to the cyclical ride and after many rounds have accepted it as normal. Its regularity is soothing, and even the predictable spots of jarring roughness becomes part of the meditative regimen.

It's not really yours to fix anyway, but you should at least recognize it, point out the example to others, and maybe once explain why it won't work. With total Schopenhauerian faith, trust that everyone gets what they deserve, as nothing in the world could be otherwise.

Purposeful Focused Effort

Once realizing the stakes inherent in everything, you willfully choose to do only the necessary, making each strike with force and precision.

Accordingly, you avoid the unnecessary, which makes each necessary strike still easier, wasting no effort on what doesn't matter, offering it vast space to freely expend itself and discharge on circular excursions reaching nowhere, both a loss and a clearing of clutter.

Purpose has a goal and means of reaching there. It isn't random. It doesn't hope, wait, or pray for miracles. The path is clear, and the extraneous is not part of it.

Test All Theories

The great benefit of engaging in foolishness is experiencing what happens when choosing foolishness. Hold no merely speculative theories! Test all worthy ones -- you are a durable and curious enough subject. In this way we refute imaginary worlds and reject jealous gossip that accuses the world for our own shortcomings.

We seek good outcomes and knowledge of their conditions, enticed by neither desperate claims of the supernatural (goblins, fairies, aliens) nor psychological hiding places (blame, excuses, justification).

Disposing the Irrelevant

Pick it up, pack it out. What has no purpose is burdensome trash to be disposed of quickly. When something no longer has a purpose or value, throw it away. Clutter is a curse; open space a blessing.

Home like a campground: leave no trace, which means no lingering messes. Be ready at any moment to present a tour to any spontaneous home buyer. Tolerate no exceptions to this policy of spacious cleanliness.

Throwing away the unnecessary is holy bliss.

This will also remind you to keep focus on the essential and discard things that don't matter and never will.

At the bottom of male fantasy about women is desire not for unattainable perfection or any exceptional traits, but merely a good and sensible woman who occasionally exercises and usually eats healthy food in normal human quantities. Basic fitness and discipline vanish with the advent of progress, fleeing as quickly as aptitude.

The double envelopment manifests as divorce, which means losing half your wealth while being required to pay alimony for decades or life, even if the woman's infidelity was the cause for her initiating divorce. This feeling of entitlement stems from archaic sexism that presumes women are unable to take care of themselves and lack basic skills valuable to employers.

Marriage soon to reach 0% from laws making it absurd

But women are independent and don't need patronizing charity. As 51% of the population in the U.S., they are a powerful minority able to look after themselves. Women are 67% of college graduates and rising. They are strong, brave, creative, hard-working, self-sufficient, and surely do not want state violence threatening men to provide welfare and treat them as pity cases.

Marriage became a business deal, and the government promised to offer wealth upon the dissolution of marriage because it too received a cut of the divorce, and soon what was once sacred had been vulgarized out of greed.

Needless complexity can be quickly discarded, removing money interests from marriage and restoring general health. Doing so would quickly return marriage rates to previous levels before money and obesity were added as new opponents of mutual joy.

Now you're on the radar screen and they will aim at you to cause destruction because that is their nature You don't want to appear on any radar screen because it usually means someone is trying to shoot you down. Merely scanning a military plane with radar is considered hostile and preludes combat and evasive maneuvers.

The school of terrorism demonstrates it is easy to destroy things, though its proponents never create anything substantial once the previously utilized space is cleared away. The frustrated and feeble focus on blowing up what others have built instead of creating alternatives in which they can highlight the peak possibilities of their spirit and abilities. From barren souls, they attempt to create equality in which they fare average by forcing a collective race to the mediocrity of nothingness.

This thug life is Eastern in character, seen most notably in Russia, but also in Islamic fighters and Abrahamic cheering for destructive underdogs. The Eastern proverb "The nail that sticks out gets hammered down" aptly describes the envious and insecure leveling process that strives to eliminate natural difference.

As we are not Russian, Islamic, or Abrahamic, we do not seek to destroy the superior among us breaking away from idle squalor, nor do we rage in fury at our neighbors doing better and enjoying their independence from our misery. We do not wish to force others into silence and inactivity for fear of violent equality enforcement. But neither do we expect the Russian, Islamic, or Abrahamic nature to be soon changed into its opposite, so we pragmatically practice stealth, caution, and distance to keep away from the harmful outbursts of the enemies of civilization, aware of their instincts and wary of being noticed for having a different spiritual character.

August 30, 2014

When someone is flailing about, yelling at them to stop flailing does not change their behavior. A philosopher would attempt to calmly speak with them about their actions and the harm they will surely bring about, and the subject will usually understand, acknowledge, and agree, yet the modern will continue his madness all the same without interruption, as his motivations are irrational and reactionary from psychological malnourishment.

With reason banished and the outcome inevitable, the subject's sole value remains as a demonstration of his type. What does the behavior of flailer look like? How is their disposition during their chaotic grasping moments of need and depravity? Is the imprint of their doomed downfall so strong that it could serve as a lasting warning to others who enter the orbit of flailing?

The state's justice is capricious and rotten. A fine in no way compensates for someone driving faster than the designated speed limit, nor is the principle of the fine ever explained. A period of time wasted in jail fails to fix any claimed offense or in any way improve the situation, but only agitates the punished who gains an unquenchable thirst for revenge and criminal training in an environment of diverse professionals.

But nature's justice is beautiful. When someone is making egregious mistakes that will soon cause themselves great injury, we must merely remain at a distance and allow them to indulge in their rash actions, which resolve themselves appropriately without defined intervention. They are instructors in error, and their example is valuable to others.

We need do nothing to stop those who are creating disaster. One either acts in accord with nature or stumbles off cliffs and into waiting wolf dens.

August 17, 2014

You can be anything if you choose action that will bring about those results, but first you'd have to know how to choose, how to avoid self-deception, how to recognize dead ends, and how to understand what others have already shown bring about those results. Most acts are failures. We are blessed that people are usually paralyzed by lack of will and do not act, or act impotently.

Once we accept the best possibilities often meet vast nothingness, action is seen as a rare exception. Even if this exception occurs, it typically misses any positive target for reasons that all derive from lack of awareness.

It's a notable exception for someone to act sensibly and appropriately, almost a miracle. It happens on occasion and should not be expected without evidence suggesting ability to focus on reality.

In a lifetime, you can achieve excellence in several areas, and very good results in many. For example, in the physical: health, strength, physique, and athleticness, you can become great with a year of devoted effort and breathtaking by three, yet most make no effort, or inconsequential token efforts, and call the goal impossible, as if no one has ever accomplished it, giving themselves invented evidence as a reason to smartly quit early before exerting effort better spent waiting for magic, privilege, and the cruel revenge of confiscatory economics.

You can master any area of study, from obscure astrophysics to a musical instrument in 5-10 years, but most never try, and pass through life without having developed basic knowledge or skills in any area. Too clever to attempt anything, they achieve nothing except the most passive existence.

Our virtue is the force that steers all moving objects closer to reality -- the only judge that matters -- and stabs deep into deceptive arguments, fraud, lies, conspiracies, assumptions, hope, and other malignant projections. Every deception should be cut, choked, and brutalized by the cruelest truths, and if not put down at once at least critically injured and its fatal weaknesses demonstrably exposed until the false fall faster than they spawn, and no one longer thinks it cute or innocent to promote pending catastrophes.

Idiot or Liar?

Anything is inevitable if you put it in motion and work hard to prevent alternatives First they say "this change will be inconsequential", to which a saner person would point out there is no purpose in making a radical structural change in order to achieve the inconsequential.

Then when the experiment has mutated out of control far beyond the original worst case objections, the leadership slogan becomes "change is inevitable", and it is only inevitable because they have made it so.

Shortly thereafter, they say "you'd better accept change because it's coming."

Thus consent is required after mistakes are made, with no consideration for taking action to reduce or reverse their effects.

Democracy is transparent about trivial daily actions (votes, bills, speeches) but evasively silent about intent, theory, assessments, plans, and goals that constitute the substance of its activity.

Release Valves

Tension makes pressure that must find a way out Crazy religions wielded force and triumphed over nature before eventually being abolished as unbelievable after making outrageous claims about the world at odds with proof, experience, and all known reality.

Those who wanted more than to plainly accept the world still needed to vent through fantasy and imagination, the poetic purpose for which religions were invented.

Searching for release after they had done away with religion, they made imaginary worlds of ideology and politics, inventing make-believe explanations, motives, and goals to fight for, positing differing make-believe ideas as their true enemies holding them back from utopia.

This playful distraction relieved them from the burden of reality.

Catch two yentas chattering and you're in for an insightful experience. Their syntax is roughly correct, in that they are using a form of language that is approximately precise, but the substance is free of anything worth communicating.

Like a lingering electrical signal making muscles twitch reflexively after the body is dead, they babble out an infinite stream of undirected consciousness in an unrelenting fountain of effluvia propelled by their hedonistic joy of making noise.

No law prevents this sort of public pollution.

Repeated exposure to bad behavior shapes outlook.

Highways are a microcosmic example: drivers who would rather not arrive at their destination dawdle to burn time, going slow in a passive aggressive dirge of obstruction and avoidance.

Highway police are taught to see citizens as revenue sources, using speed limits from the 1970s though modern cars bear only a historical relation to vehicles of that era. Transporation becomes a misery of pretense, predation, and apathy.

"Replace them all with robots! Remove their independence and automate them by Google!"

From spite at broken actors comes prayer for relief via negativa. When complex systems fail, we remove stressors one by one to restore natural function. The modern is taught by commercials to do the opposite, layering on yet another entangling and contradictory vector while trying to stabilize wild vacillations caused by ever tumbling conflicting excess.

Surveillance Creeps

If you want to get anything non-trivial, you will need exceptional intelligence as an engine and a wild spirit that is curious and desirous for creating with the possibilities of the world With higher quality people, you could create an entirely different society where new possibilities would emerge. A key point to Herrnstein and Murray's The Bell Curve was that an increase or decrease in just a few IQ points had tremendous social effects, and an increase, or at least prevention against a decrease, was highly desirable. For example, beginning at 115 IQ, a person is able to gather and infer their own information, an initial starting point of sentience from which cultural creation can begin.

Given that intelligence is a rare resource with valuable raw potential, it would be desirable to restore the purpose of education to focusing on the gifted instead of recent shift favoring the average or disabled, as only the gifted create the positive aspects of civilization.

Surveillance societies so far haven't worked because they have been the domain of creeps and low minded people tolerant of overreaching, petty, fraudulent, and corrupt behavior. But some theoretical benefit of snooping on everyone's communication and private lives might be attainable if the people doing the snooping were completely different than they are. That's essentially asking for a different reality.

The US even 70 years ago, when it was a fairly healthy society, probably couldn't be trusted to intercept and collect communications. Today they can't be trusted at all, as bad behavior and personal use has shown (only the known cases are counted), not to mention the US will soon be Brazilian in character, with regular corruption, chaos, illogic, disorganization, dysfunction, and diverse lack of community standards allowing anyone with power to do whatever they want to the rest, against the interest of whatever vague semblance of a nation still remains in the mess that was once a homogeneous and unified land.

Europeans can't be trusted to intercept and monitor their citizens either. Their governments also advocate policies and ideas harmful to their people and against their citizens' interests for the sake of a destructive ideology no one wants. Their governments pass new laws and policies to gradually destroy the nation's future, contrary to the government's historic role of maintaining the strength of the nation. Governments across the world are slowing taking apart their inherent wealth through deliberate degradation, and citizens are unable to stop their governments from doing so.

Perhaps the Japanese, who like many east Asian populations have a high peak average intelligence with fewer people at the margins, could run an honorable surveillance state with rules drafted to ensure its sole concern was state security from external threats, and all political motives, personal snooping, scope creep, and vindictiveness was strictly forbidden, which would require oaths of honor and respect by the surveillance agents snooping on citizens.

Until we cultivate better people, the badly flawed ones will continue to fish through personal data with creepy behavior that doesn't remotely address a public policy goal and only serves to worsen security.

As the media and elites force a discussion on immigration reform that presumes adding millions of unskilled and low IQ people to the voter and welfare rolls to make the future no citizen desires, let's direct the conversation to whether adding these people will result in a superior quality population (because they are high ability talents), a same quality population as now (which we could achieve by taking no action), or whether we would reasonably expect their addition would create a lower quality population with lesser mental ability.

By measuring likely consequences, we can wisely assess a good course of action.

When the Seed Corn is Gone, Innovate with Sewage

Freedom to pollute for convenience, because no one can stop you and it doesn't matter what you impose on others Some populations are better subjects for Communism than others. When not exiling or murdering the upper class and ruling the rest by fear, force, confiscation, and destruction, Communism is based on definitions, stacked up and pushed into central goals, e.g. harvesting 50 tons of wheat next year. This approach has never worked in practice, but one can imagine a race of sufficient quality, honesty, and awareness to organize the model successfully. Lacking that, the typical method is to blur, confuse, and play word games.

The Chinese are pragmatic achievers able to mathematically assess costs and maximize profit by reducing expenditures to the minimal amount that suffices to meet the defined functional prerequisites.

They don't care about the consequences of cutting corners because that happens to others, and there are a billion others who don't matter. It's simply cheaper to put melamine in infant formula, chemicals in children's toys, and pollute freely without concern.

A clever woman who mines sewage for cooking oil was able to earn enough money to build a house. Good for her! She is not concerned that people who eat food cooked in sewage oil might die, because now through her hard work and smart opportunism she has a house.

As this thinking leaves its previous confines and spreads throughout the slumping and assassinated West, it meets tolerance, open-mindedness, and lack of remaining standards, so all choices and outcomes are equal, especially the easiest ones. Like an invasive species, we can expect the same results seen in the East will now appear in the West, becoming the new model.

"Everyone tries to swindle everyone else. There's nothing we can do about it."

It's a fitting epitaph.

Beyond Belief

Politics and ideology ensnare like religion, offering oversimplistic answers that deceive with comfortable hiding places of narcotic self-satisfaction. Instead of a priest dressed in holy robes telling you tall tales and evasively complicated explanations for why things are failing (but will soon be great, very soon, very great -- keep waiting and paying and following) a politician or pundit justifier gains control by getting others to defer to their special vision of what society should be, as if shaping from the outside could produce a positive result.

Politics proposes heroes, villains, and cheering, never clear-headed analysis All such schemes have so far led to decline, degradation, meaninglessness, and misery, but the leader's trivial twist on things is promoted as though it should somehow be expected to revive the whole from the impairment and indignity caused by all who came before and attempted to improve the organic.

Under this approach, people are universally assumed to be barn animals, as some surely are, incapable of gaining self-awareness, and thus in need of imposed order and false explanations to feel a sense of direction and purpose. This perversity gets a foothold because failure and disaster are rarely recognized until decades after their consequences are already established.

The inclination of the political and ideological approach is to keep piling on faster than people can unpile, leaving people unable to defend against the consequences of imposed politics and ideology. Multiple politics and ideology independently aspire to pile on, each offering to defend against the others, with none offering relief from the encroachment in general.

Some seek a solution by pledging religious loyalty to a political party, and lose notice of the real world so they can remain obedient and supportive of their chosen belief. Others give in from overload, accepting the discourse as legitimate and tolerating this encirclement by the many sides who use this technique against the public.

In professional wrestling entertainment, a character usually plays the face (hero) or heel (villain). Religion, politics, and ideology recruit and maintain believers by offering their hero product and positioning pseudo-opponents as villain characters to cheer against. All whom cheer for their hero are deemed good, while competing figured are considered wrong, ignorant, hateful, unenlightened, bigoted, and probably enemies plotting to salt the earth under the cover of night.

To hold these beliefs requires no understanding of them, nor awareness of the larger struggle of bellum omnium contra omnes, but merely a core orientation of opposition to others. The ideological enemy is strong, but our true faith will prevail, the wicked will be punished, God will guide us to victory, and the world will be ours! So say all sides against one another.

As popular opinion is rarely near any basic truth, the likely winner of these protracted skirmishes can be expected to espouse fallacious ideas, yet be supremely confident of their position and demonstrably capable of inspiring a large group of followers. The foundation of their ideology needs no relation to any cause or effect, and thus cannot be disproven -- it is immune to reason, debunking, and critique, all techniques in any case that only the wicked would attempt to use against the righteous. And even that is too much work and misses the point, as presumptuous assertions suffice for appeal to acolytes.

We get many political movements, ideologies, and religions, all badly missing the mark of sane diagnostics, stability, or pragmatic fixes, because their goal is to attract followers and gain power, not to solve problems or address reality. They are not judged on results. They say what a demographic wants to hear, provoke followers to become agents of the power brokers, and then put on a dramatic show to solidify the base and attract new believers.

The pragmatic test in assessing politics or ideology is to measure what is fixed (not merely moved around, hidden, stolen from others, or buried elsewhere), what is made worse, and what was ignored. Was there a single idea in contact with the real world, or was it all sensationalism designed to manipulate the irrational majority?

Accordingly, we dismiss all modern politics and ideology as a religion that attempts to appear normal but at its core is still hunting new witches to blame and murder, under the premise that our problems can be solved if only we could eliminate the evil effect of invisible witches that leaders with bold vision are able to detect.

Crazy Broadcasting

When seeking information, questions will only get you defensive responses and fake answers posed for effect. Just as you don't need to directly see a planet to measure its orbit, as it can be ascertained by its effect on its relations, all you have to do is get someone talking comfortably and soon they'll tell you everything without even knowing what they've revealed.

Everyone thinks their regular consciousness is normal, so when they start telling you their thoughts, positioning, interpretations, and reactions, you need only affirm and provoke onward as they paint the picture of their self-image and worldview.

From what they seek you can determine what they lack.

From what they cannot do and how quickly they give up, you can measure how they respond to limitations and how this impacts their aspirations.

From the words they use to describe their situation, you can fish out excuses, false hope, dependencies, and schemes, and measure how they use these as coping mechanisms.

Questions raise suspicion, but agreement, empathy, and willingness to listen flies under the radar and gets you far more than you really wanted to know.

Dream Big and Wild

Political correctness inserted itself where it wasn't needed and dug in to establish a position to censor truths and replace them with new words and obscuring palaver.

Speech and conduct codes further reinforced unreality, imposing shame, silence, and compliance to keep the world at an abstract manipulated distance. They targeted young minds to turn into ruled subjects by programming them as simplistic utility robots by paralyzing instincts and forcing dishonesty. All of this was bad enough, but the crazed destroyers of civilization were hungry for more.

They invented trigger warnings, microaggression, even rape with the eyes. Anything not conforming to sterile nothingness was accused, especially nature, which was unfair, unequal, and merely a social construct, a hierarchical one at that, and therefore wrong according to the rebels.

Nature was to be castrated, marginalized, and replaced by newly invented social constructs. They were sacrosanct, despite lacking reason or evidence, and demanded respect despite their specious assumptions and consistently negative results. Those who questioned or mocked them were attacked, fired, called hateful names, and ostracized for disobedience to the decree of rulers.

They hated religions because many are strange and untrue, so they built their own secular religion and made it the strangest and most untrue of all.

Dream big and wild! But please don't unleash your crazy folk on the public.

Flowing Pulse

The stretch is endless, the space silent, and anything can happen - as ever When needing more to consider, expand outward, wide and wild, loose and unsnarled, surveying vast stretches for their generalities, contours, and specific treats. New perceptions and possibilities overwhelm the senses, shaking away the dull safety of what you thought you knew while teasing with subtle nuance and suggestive truths that had long lingered before you unnoticed. This outpouring of excess makes a powerful impression on your worldview, in turn spurring reconsiderations and remeasurements of fundamentals previously deemed settled and still, now undeniably fluid and in flux, ripe for reassessment along with all that rests against it.

When sated and in possession of a clear vision, turn inward to build your fortress and refine your method from which all creations are born. What you desire is clear and now only its steps need to be performed in sequence in a fruitful environment from which you can realize their enactment and associated concepts.

Both polarities yield different valuable answers when used alternately. The moderate space in the middle is a dead zone.

In My Experience

The personal narrative portrays itself as a comprehensive explanation of deep insight bringing enlightenment to all who hear it. More correctly, it is usually an isolated case without anything general or specific to teach.

Instead of promoting effort to achieve desirable possibilities, it encourages waiting for a result someone else attained in different circumstances. It casts accusation and suspicion on the active and successful, demanding privilege for those who merely show up, and even those who are discriminated against by secret conspiracies and blow off showing up so they can play video games for another hour.

Previous discourses measured positive outcomes by the effort needed to achieve them, with stories detailing excellent attempts. Modern discourse seek to bypass effort, calling it oppressive, and expressing dramatic displeasure for disciplines such as planning, organization, knowledge, thought, and sustained hard work.

Moderns imagine everything should be free and easy, given to everyone, normalized on the low, venal, envious, and unrealistic.

No parades will be thrown for your ability to sit through lectures or meetings, complete a test, or reply to emails. A college degree or salaried job impresses no one and confers nothing exceptional, and accordingly nothing exceptional will be given to you.

You'll have to figure out the unclear and teach yourself the unknown by doing it. You can devise theory if you need it, but only the application matters. No backup is coming, so don't wait for others to arrive and show you the way. Everything around you is murky and falling apart, and still you must go forward, cast it into clarity, and reckon how to hold things together.

This is the only way to get anywhere. They don't teach effectiveness in schools, and they might have beaten it out of your parents, but it is the only way to stay atop every situation that matters. It keeps life joyful, as everything remains possible, needing only your touch to be oriented properly, and it takes away common avenues of failure reached by excuses, lack of legitimate interest, and self-victimization.

Defying Nature

Few people are attracted to the overweight, the ugly, the loud, the rude, the dull, or those of bad character. And who but a crazy person would attempt to defy natural attraction?

Some attempt to escape their low ranking by using propaganda and shame to relatively raise their status, as if words could talk someone into desiring what they find repulsive, or convince them the well fit are sloppy and unsound. So far, this scheme hasn't worked, and these aspiring social engineers have not won themselves the privilege they seek.

do we want more or fewer ugly witches? More importantly, why the marginalization of witches? Literature and art characterize witches as ugly with contorted noses, bad features, and a wicked temperament, fully unsuitable as wives and hostile to society. These crude, cruel depictions summarily capture the traits of many people, at once making them outsiders by virtue of matching those portrayals.

Perhaps some men deserve to marry grotesque witches, strengthening the pool of bad features so they increase in number and potency instead instead of dying out from non-selection. Those who want equality desire more of the average and low, everything without distinction of good from bad. If tolerance is the rule, especially of bad outcomes, should we not create more bad outcomes to prove how open minded and welcoming we are to the disastrous, worthless, and harmful? The more misery we cause and tolerate as normal, the more enlightened and benevolent others will judge us to be.

When we pretend to notice nothing and show we don't care what happens, we boldly declare ignorance, exhaustion, and inability to govern ourselves.

La Primera de Primavera

Making sense of the scents, the air hanging delightfully heavy with undeniable musty fullness. Ripe and ready life arrives well undressed for the dance of explosive expansion, a lusty two-step of thrusts and acceptance.

Nature stirs you to beautiful aims. You have to wildly love her essence in the spring, summer too -- maybe longer if she is a good match. Some flowers die forever after a rich season, others without prompting arise each year to show their lasting worth.

The ineffable calls and positions you to perform the same role of perfect temptation for others. The cosmic matchmaker believes we do better together, at least provisionally.

The eyes take it in like tasting a complex whiskey, enjoying the tease of delightful notes and their subtle cultivated flavors, not all sweet, but all wide, deep, and compelling.

Who would not love to savor these fragrant tastes when presented so wonderfully? Who would look away when desirous and willful eyes lock and tell one another their potential?

If everything was pleasant, we'd be too numb to realize it. Thankfully, we have the opposite, a diverse living hell of chaos and dysfunction, with only fleeting reprieves of sensibility and accord with nature. These offer a short moment of perfection before they are overtaken and trashed by the empty and disgruntled.

we have created hell on earth and think it normal

Someone has to be the one driving slow in the left lane to block the rest. If it isn't you, someone else will take up the role so it can be performed.

Someone has to buy junk food and fast food to push out better options and contribute to unhealth. The mission is misshapen bodies, compulsion, diabetes, and an image of hell, and there is still more that can be done to win this ideal.

Someone has to buy terrible pop music and make it the standard over far better offerings. Someone is bored and will watch inferior shows. Someone has to buy idiotic books from J.K. Rowling, John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Orson Scott Card, Dan Brown, and their Hollywood versions, instead of superior literature and films.

Someone is buying video games, encouraging the lifestyle of imaginary activity instead of actually doing interesting things in real life.

Someone is buying Chinese plastic at Walmart, driving mom and pop stores out of the community.

Those people aren't ideological. They are merely performing a role. They act as hellspawn would act, destroying what is good and replacing it with worthless inferiority as the new standard.

Nor are they terrible devoted. They are casual volunteers, destroying not from malice, but because it is easy and they are directionless. They are easily disuaded and shaken out of their zombified plodding, and another will take their place.

When they perform, we'd do best to smile at their lukewarm villainous depictions and realize that without such efforts, we'd be lost in a world that would seem an undisturbed paradise.

Talking About Doing Things

After going far with communication, skepticism creeps in about the value of effort spent communicating.

Talking doesn't move anything closer to its completion or organize the chaotic, but appears more like an ineffectual scheme of avoidance producing no results or even distant preparation. You might as well argue with people.

Given that clarity is necessary to posit goals and their component steps, once someone has awareness, only action is needed, and talking about what we should be doing is redundant or evasive. When awareness is lacking, clarity must first be reached, and it doesn't follow from socializing, gathering random opinions, or falsely affirming popular trends to signal passive compliance to the localized public.

Clarity is anti-theoretical. If we desire a particular outcome, the tasks needed for its actualization aren't guesses or hopes, but denote a clear-headed articulation of its unfolding structure. More pragmatically, effort towards the outcome should gradually develop into its realization until becoming demonstrable, or else you had no idea what you thought you were doing.

When your plans for the next few centuries are clear, communication is mostly a parasitical tax that prevents goals by tolerating interruptions from the confused and undirected.

There are many ways to defend against communication, simplified by dropping out of brutal leashes like email and phones. Texting is avoidable as basic decency -- it's offensive to utter at others or be uttered at; low effort is far worse than an ambitious failed attempt.

As a teenager and young adult, it's easy to spend months talking with someone about desires and dreams. Talk entraps as it becomes proxy for action, and usually nothing talked about ever happens, and probably wasn't meant to. You could get entangled in that fantasy world, or move on and do what beckons curiosity and calls you, assuming your dreams are not ludicrous ideas, like wanting to be an astronaut.

One sees what is theirs, what must be done, and what others have not yet done and will not. Very well then -- your personal tasks await, or else will never in time be touched by anyone else.

Talking is like a child's dream that concludes with a compelling image that satisfies, rather than a new truth crafted into reality. What we really want most of all is the attainment, which has to be reached through a series of actions, not talking about the infinitude of possibility or constructing marketing images that appeal to vanity.

Awareness of our short lives prompts focus. We could talk about the necessary forever, so long as we didn't become sentient, or we could choose to quietly direct consciousness to achieve our goals. As talk proves nothing and generally deceives, attempting to convince the opposite of appearance, achievements are the best proof of attainment and ability, a counterproposal to communication and shorthand marker designating a lack of interest in idle chatter.

Anyone Can Sing

Until a few years ago I couldn't sing and hadn't ever seriously tried, as the pop music I listened to was screamed death metal, black metal, and punk. Clean vocals was what the phony, stupid, or soulless used -- at least what I had ever heard, so there was no reason to pay much attention to it or emulate it.

This changed after a few lucky finds of singers whose style matched my soul. After realizing voice is just another instrument to master musically and practicing a few hours a day with ruthless criticality, singing began to unfold easily.

Hitting every note can be hard, but each challenge is eventually met, and what once seemed impossible soon becomes a fun ride. This beautification campaign introduces singing everywhere. Your lover's heart will melt each time.

Dazzling friends and strangers at karaoke is small time when you can sing without training wheels for large audiences on stage. From a distance it seems daunting, but it's not much more difficult than talking once you become acquainted with what you're doing, and stirring a crowd is fun.

With a good regimen and born ability, you'll be a good singer within a few months and solid in a year, refining onward into a beautiful instrument.

White Knight Rescues

You could swoop in on your horse, or modest Japanese compact, and save her before she is exposed to irreparable psychological damage. The physical damage is more easily prevented. Make sure she eats reasonably and exercises, avoiding sugar, junk, alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs. There's no shortage of such women.

Gallop bravely, oh noble white knight to save her from herself before she does something rash and predictable!

Mental and spiritual damage are trickier. Once she gives up, no longer caring about good results, curious about life, or believing in eternal right, the rotten foundation can sustain nothing.

Perhaps damage is interesting. If you come to believe that, you will be rich with interesting drama to discover. Crazy is fun, until you realize you've hitched your dreams and aspirations to a crazy person, and now you live in an asylum of your own making.

Maybe she is still capable of intimacy, before the casual flings blurred differentiation and numbed away feeling. The brutal road wroughts permanent damage, and no one needs bring such things upon themselves.

Base Characteristics

Ascertaining the characteristics of a low and base person is considered offensive, though none would argue the characterization itself is incorrect. They were expecting you wouldn't see them as they are, and would instead mistake them as noble, excellent, and high-minded - traditional ideals and the opposite of their actual traits.

Preserving Wolves

Hunting down what has attracted attention, can be eaten, and cannot defend itself Wolves survey the territory for creatures gone astray or grown unfit -- easy prey cleansed from the landscape by nature's efficient recycling program that allows all attempts and mercilessly punishes failures, even her own innocent experiments, by removing the error and reintroducing the remaining valuable raw materials for new combinations. You might even interpret the decrepit, broken, and unsuitable to be offering themselves up to nature for appropriate removal, aware they have failed and are unrepairable.

We preserve wolves to maintain balance and keep a loaded weapon against excess and false notions of safety. Rape, robbery, assault, and murder are ever looming, undissuadable by man's laws no matter how numerous. Your entire society is fragile and quickly put to rest forever by immigrants, diversity, loss of purpose, or a large military able to shrug off waves of massive losses for temporary occupation of territory they can't uphold or improve upon. Sun shines for a while, so enjoy its warm comfort knowing the shadow of lawless night comes soon and deathly winter waits for its blanketing season of conquest.

Green eyes that allure and wish to kill you with its face Without wolves to ruthlessly rend flesh with their fierce jaws and smart unrelenting hunt for prey, we'd have no sweetness, love, or profound music. All tender beauty can be instantly and easily destroyed, taken away from our appreciation, leaving us with the monotonously average. The danger posed to us impacts awareness and appreciation of what we can create in precious moments with a shared desire and its nourishment, as well as how a single thoughtless outburst breaks sustainment and summons to wolves to feast at crippled carnage.

Wolves provide the service of cleaning up beauty fallen into mess and contradiction. With wolves alert to pick and pluck at hubris and defect, we stay tidy, tuned, and unstraggled.

May the wolves forever remain strong and well fed.

Third World Values

When the national plan is to escape the place your people have built, this is not a plan. The airline pilot is well paid compared to his fellow countrymen, living in a nicer part of the charming but filthy crime-ridden city. When walking around the city and trying to live for a while, you notice they haven't invented lines yet, nor anything organized, instead sticking to a culture of impulsive moments, obedience to power groups, and spontaneous urge. They aren't in a hurry to get places. Sunlight is abundant year round and there's no rush to accomplish anything.

As head pilot, he has his neck on the line and doesn't want to die at the controls, but this desire to avoid death isn't supported by the necessary deep knowledge, forethought, or planning -- those don't have deep roots in his culture. They have laws of a sort, but when caught a person can avoid penalty through customary bribes or personal connections.

Will he take seriously the regulations on not drinking alcohol 12 hours before a flight, or laugh it off as a silly law for weaklings? When some aspect of the flight becomes shaky, will he wisely reason through it, or make rash decisions and poor assumptions that doom everyone?

You can plainly see what culture these people create and their collective abilities. It's too cruel to wonder where their space program is. And yet you trust them for safe transport of all types? They don't have clean public water, never have, and perhaps never will. Their elites would have to surge in large families to proportionately overtake the masses. Instead, both capable and incapable are looking to flee their wretched nation, and none think it possible to ever clean up the disorganization, wrong-headed thinking, and sabotaging actions. They consider escape their best plan, which collectively expresses complete lack of faith in the ability of the people and in turn the nation their talents created.

The guy flying your airplane is a representative of a failed culture and people. You are strangely trusting his abilities to handle unknown unknowns, understand their subtle variations and impacts, and solve them expertly. These notions are foreign to people of his land and lack historic examples. Yet you expect him to be utterly unlike the rest of his countrymen?

When you measure a spirit, note when they have no great works of art, nothing transcendent, and no classic literature translated to world languages. It's a mistake to assume all fruits grow on undistinguished soil.

Celebrating Brutality

Hypermodern with every trendy trope: token minorities, blond girl with mulatto romance, menacing wheelchair kid, historic asiatic jew stereotype perpetuated by liberals, with all characters flatly defined by their means of special treatment, whether race, disability, or unconventional sexual proclivities, living for festivals of pointless song and dance tripe treated seriously as if containing some hidden substance.

Glee parades in the death of Western Civilization by replacing culture and meaning with noise and empty action. After dumbing down standards and lowering the quality of the population so Beethoven is no longer understandable and classic literature has too many words and not enough pictures, they offer a glimpse of a sci-fi future where mindless music and psychologically deranged people gyrate in united narcissistic glory.

Glee appears to be neither parody nor self-aware, made for an audience already prepared by media saturation to think its setting of decline is normal, needing no artistic premise for its naked gruesomeness. Where von Trier's Melancholia is a carefully crafted movie depicting humanity's apocalypse, Glee is a prolonged snuff film with unnecessary torture, blasphemy, violent sadomasochistic anal rape, and depressing nihilism celebrating civilization gone decrepit and soiling itself hourly as it goes through its death throes seeking relief from the brutality of its grim suicide.

While perhaps a visionary look at an impending future of Huxlian death through trivial amusement, or Vonnegut's vision of the Handicapper General using pop music to suppress thought and spirit, Glee is crude, ugly, and promotes the idea of world where only submission to banality will be possible, with no heroes or alternatives to restore health and sanity.

Pop Music is Parody

Every pop band is an example of comedy by virtue of adapting a popular style through an emulation of expectations that announces itself as an exaggerated parody.

There are north-eastern rock bands singing non-ironically about the cowboy lifestyle and every other appealing cliche. This fits perfectly with popular tastes -- entire stadiums will sing along like churchgoers belting out hymns, a united mass completing standards without considering their content.

If you were to make a movie spoof of bands or rappers, none would be more ridiculous than the leaders of the genre. They have perfected their stereotype, sealing their position while giving bored spectators more of what they've seen before, offering a soothing numbness of repetition.

How to write a popular song? Make it just like all the rest, using two or three notes and emphasize a single lyrical aspect of the audience's desired prejudice. Crowds stand for more of the same, and their combined spare income is a dependable way to earn money by providing an entertaining status quo.

Men Need to be Educated Better

Girls growing up in a generally healthy environment are themselves generally healthy. They'll have cultivated a few flaws that are easily correctable if they want to improve themselves. After removing their accumulated sense of entitlement, acceptance of wise feedback allows them to make small changes, in turn refining them into suitable companions for a lifetime of love.

a woman is your friend. do not beat on her. love, cherish and protect her

The challenge is to fix the rough and ugly edges that draw attention and eclipse the whole, distracting from the naturally beautiful. This bad behavior towards herself and others creates a contrast with her ideal that accents the unbalanced and disharmonious.

Teaching a woman to be pleasant also means teaching her to not be unpleasant, which is difficult when the predominant culture promotes assertiveness (i.e. getting what you want at the expense of others while rejecting holistic consideration and empathy), independence (i.e. hedonism), drama (i.e. using others as entertainment), and narcissism (i.e. pointless babbling about the irrelevant).

The traditional finishing school taught young women how to avoid being loud and rude. These schools lost popularity when women were converted into loyal company workers and loud rudeness became tolerated in public, no longer receiving looks of scorn or requests to be quiet and decent. Worse, the skills they were previously taught remained necessary but were now lost, leaving women unprepared for suitors as they went into the dating market with nothing pleasant to offer.

Will and willingness.-- Someone took a youth to a sage and said: "Look, he is being corrupted by women." The sage shook his head and smiled. "It is men," said he, "that corrupt women; and all the failings of women should be atoned by and improved in men. For it is man who creates for himself the image of woman, and woman forms herself according to this image."
"You are too kind-hearted about women," said one of those present; "you do not know them." The sage replied: "Will is the manner of men; willingness that of women. That is the law of the sexes - truly, a hard law for women. All of humanity is innocent of its existence; but women are doubly innocent. Who could have oil and kindness enough for them?"
"Damn oil! Damn kindness!" someone shouted out of the crowd; "Women need to be educated better!" - "Men need to be educated better," said the sage and beckoned to the youth to follow him. - The youth, however, did not follow him.

Man is drawn to challenges, and none loom more necessary than trying to help modern females fix the problems caused by this era. Man becomes a mix of psychologist, physical trainer, chef, manager, and replacement daddy, and must teach her essential skills for being a valuable woman -- skills that were known to nearly all generations before the current one. Sure, a man could cook and clean for himself, or hire a third-world maid and eat at restaurants, but both approaches are perfectly self-sufficient and inevitably exclude women for their inability to contribute to the homestead, leaving her broken, without basic skills, and a helpless victim of modernity.

Some try to hide away in clothing, jewelry, makeup, education, or drugs. None of these conceal her essence, but this attempt to disguise it only creates further suspicion. What desirable girl is not best naked, free of adornments and imposture? Costumes are ridiculous and a failed shield, serving only to keep oneself at a distance from the world, while providing no actual protection against imagined harm, when the greatest harm is being brought to oneself through this pretense and paranoid posture.

A human's goals are simple:

  • achieving high standards within their potential and awareness, working diligently and tenaciously for results, never resting on excuses
  • seeking improvement in performance and worldview, expanding interests, knowledge, consciousness, and connectivity
  • remaining true to their authentic potentially so their life is a demonstration of spirit fulfilling its destiny
These needs are fulfilled by the role of education.

Education means acquiring knowledge applied to form understanding which is followed by action to attain goals. To merely collect facts for no purpose is to play with trivia; to not connect knowledge into a coherent whole is to hold fragmentary consciousness like someone perpetually texting; to not act when aware of attainable outcomes is laziness, self-renunciation, or nihilism.

If a man does not choose to educate himself better, he can never address problems that arise from new appeals to the masses that sound good but run contrary to the eternal truths of nature. There are faults everywhere, and it is up to man to not only recognize them, but to set them straight.

April 4, 2014

You never decided to be smart, tenacious, hard working, or creative. You always were what you are, from the earliest days of childhood, with a long history of accomplishments meeting success, offering a wide path forward from your predilections. You know of no other way, and yet others have lesser or opposite tendencies, experiences, and temperament, causing them to struggle while casting blame and accusations at those who don't share their shortcomings.

Nothing was done for these abilities as they are innate. One were lucky, or carefully cultivated, to be born with them and can only do poorly by injuring themselves until their gifts no longer gleam. The capable find their situation to be normal, as all people consider the reality to which they are accustomed to be appropriate, without any particular awareness or empathy for alternatives. Accordingly, the gifted have become accustomed to having gifts, as prolificacy has always been present and will always produce abundantly. The fruits of these gifts are utterly expected by all who have come to learn of those abilities, including those who possess them. The gifted compounds this situation by segregating in favor of others born similarly instead of sharing with the incapable and needy to produce a more even average. "All should have great gifts," says the entitled person innocently while imagining the world in its ideal.

What supermodel ever willed beauty? What genius ever willed intelligence? The only change possible is negative, i.e. the force feeding of junk food and alcohol, rejection of activity and curiosity for a life of dullness and externalism, and other choices that deface and repel. The rest is naked revelation of inherent essence and substance.

"What did you ever do to deserve your fulfilling life?" angrily questions the self-appointed head judge of the disgruntled entitlement police. For to show great effort is to admit guilt for being born well with the traits of devotion to conceived goals, and to show minimal effort yielding success as a result of efficient use of great abilities is admitting even more guilt, for both paths are foreign to those who enviously accuse.

The question is jarring, and when it is taken at face value rather than as a rhetorical attack to gain advantage, no one can explain their positive traits, accomplishments, thoughts, strategies, partnerships, and other characteristics of success. Entire political parties are founded on this attack, as are those who reject the attack, and mass movements exist for self-identifying groups who will never demonstrate any notable ability and are angry about it, insisting their non-efforts be treated the same or better than the excellent, and receive reward for what the public recognizes and rejects as having no value.

To ask why someone deserves a good life is rhetoric, for everyone gets only what they deserve. The question demands a justification for being well constituted, for which there is no answer, just as no one can make another better beyond their potential which will always be achieved eventually. The question is a sort of linguistic riddle proxy for politics, basically asking as a referendum and traffic light beggar: "How can we who were born badly gain some of what you have, as our system says we are equal, yet you have more and ability to gain more. We demand the same, and accuse you of cheating, or at least of disobeying equality by keeping us down through your relatively better outcome."

Trick questions identify their betters and cast blame on them for doing well. They might as well be proving witchcraft.

Good results and bad results are both predestined, and thus blameless. No one earns either outcome - the outcomes manifest from the character of the person and their inextricable traits. In the larger scheme, the aggregate of these traits show national characteristics, tendencies, specialties, and levels of success known from the nature of the people who form a nation, or once established its greatest accomplishments before it waned when its population was replaced by less capable people.

To the gifted, spending years working at a problem of their own choosing, a problem whose contours don't even enter another's consciousness and thus never troubles them, and then to find its elegant resolution, seems perfectly natural. All things beckon to reveal themselves to such a spirit, from the concrete and direct to the artistic, whether a form of an image or melody of a song not yet written that offers itself up to be captured and recorded, or an idea not yet seen that needs a proper articulation. This person has the vigor to get through the most difficult challenges, whether physical tests of strength and endurance, spiritual tests and doubts in the most barren landscapes, or needing to devise and perform new strategies to triumph over strange but worthwhile situations where no ready-made solutions are known or available.

To be born well is entitlement, and there are powerful forces of equality whose greatest desire is to ensure such entitlement is snuffed out so all can exist on an identical footing of perpetual struggle with the trivial. If the golden geese grow strong together and spread wide, the forces of destruction will be helpless against the endless strength and replicating beauty of nature.

Communication as Noise

Gossip is worse than worthless because it disrupts consciousness with nonsense and interrupts silence to voice petty concerns.

Even more egregious is idle babble people use to discharge trivial events that overload their heads. Where gossip purports to be about something relevant (e.g. Susie was kissing a boy by the river, and you should have a reaction to that), idle babble is just a story with no point (e.g. There was a guy with a red shirt at the supermarket and he purchased chicken.)

Using another person to flush mental damage is a loss proposition for others, and should be considered a rude, selfish, harmful act.

Communication must have relevance and value, otherwise it is a negative event to avoid. We do well to neither impose it upon others nor have it imposed upon us unless it has a beneficial and enriching purpose.

Debris Fields

Trash is perfect equality that does not exceed another nor claim to be better, but is large in numbers and thus can outvote non-trash You're unlikely to find unique or new debris in a vast ocean garbage dump. There's junk of all shapes and sizes floating about, some uniting in enlightened solidarity forming a continent larger than the US.

Planes and satellites looking for junk instead discover comedic fodder, finding so much promising trash that it becomes the same noise as those seeking "closure" through fantastical false hope, victims of the same paralysis learned from infinite daily news about the trivial.

The frothing emotional drama misses the larger picture of once pristine oceans, an archaic construct that needed to be progressively changed by loading it up with trash to spread useless debris everywhere for mutual long-term loss.

Double Concerto

One of our top social problems is the shortage of double concertos and the utter lack of great people able to compose.

With taxation's purpose having been hijacked into a mechanism for wealth transfer rather than its original purpose of funding essential shared infrastructure, government needs to be pressured to utilize this extracted money to research time machine technology.

With a mature time machine program, government officials could then be useful by going back in time to kidnap high quality people capable of composition and use public monies to fund composers and their necessary conditions so timeless works of excellence are more plentiful.

If they are successful in kidnapping composers from the past, they could expand the program to include kidnapping of painters, sculptors, philosophers, architects, and a wide range of other once plentiful talents lost to antiquity. Instead of looking to low ability, low intelligence third-world laborers to raise the quality of the nation's population and magically make it competitive when compared against homogeneous nations of high ability and intelligence, the government could steal great people from centuries ago, perhaps even forcing them to breed a prolific race of highly skilled and artistic geniuses on a sensitive plantation, run by kind caretakers who carefully and considerably tend to their needs and social growth.

This progressive technology and wealth could then bring about a high culture, or at least the creation of great works, while the masses continue to spend their limited time watching ball games, reality dramas, and explosion-based movies while carefully monitoring their phones for incoming fragments of nonsense.

How the World Should Be

Youth obediently follows TV, movies, and popular sentiment, thereby knowing how the world should be, namely put to practical use for their advantage. This infused wisdom teaches that the world is not the result of people's actions, which are driven by their instincts, interests, and abilities, but is an arbitrary set of relations without reasons or biological basis for its configuration, in fact little more than a series of social constructs to be rearranged on a whim by whomever dislikes nature and wishes to reconstruct it with new scales of justice, for their personal benefit.

We are free to believe anything, no matter how absurd or destructive, but a good measure of our health would be how the people of today size up to previous generations and whether modern man is seen as remarkably puny, disabled, broken, and incapable when their abilities are compared to what others were previously able to achieve, and the expectations that once existed, i.e. one would not offer an opinion based on spontaneous feelings, but would be well versed in the topic, popular arguments and rebuttals (so as to have a foundation from which one must go farther rather than repeat for identity politics), and to have considered the topic on their own with personal interest, respectful of the fact that blurting out thoughtless stupidities harms the possibility of intelligent discourse and makes the ignorant individual the focal point of a discussion, rather than the topic, which if not assaulted with idiotic personal opinions has the possibility of being discussed by intelligent, thoughtful people who have undertaken interested study of it.

If people are far inferior today, why is that, and why is such a condition well tolerated? Should we not aspire to strive for what our ancestors could achieve rather than becoming still smaller, dumber, weaker, less aware, more spaced out, and more incapable?

Those who believe in inheritance are not going to give away their accumulated ancestral wealth encoded into values and heritage for the sake of obedience to the popular utterances and postures of the moment, particularly when contemporary health and creations are of such negligible value that they continuously drive us back to older formations that brought ascending success and timeless works of far greater depth and spirit than emerge today.

Two Part Holy War

I. Attack soft targets that make life meaningless and promote a petty culture
II. Support the restoration of excellent and high values, spreading them to capable minds, some of whom will join this Holy War

Cloaked by the night, our strike is a surprise.

Over millenia, the West created a few hundred great people, or more correctly, a few hundred great people created the West. Their efforts began by building footholds on nothingness, and then expanded outward and upward, a project unlike any other in conception, scale, intricacy, and consequences.

Not until modernity were the greatest works and their continuity ignored and replaced in favor of trivial amusement, as the newly developed ability to utilize personal entertainment was promoted as normal, even desirable, and highly effective in taking up people's time. It became a new center of gravity, replacing the meaningful and fulfilling. Watching a screen was a reward of numbing nothingness, opiatic in its loss of sensation, allowing the days to pass like a meth binge, with far less to show for the indulgence.

This sweet sugar transformed the temple of man into a diabetic behemoth melded into the couch.

Interest in the world, society, eternal truth, and compelling mystery gently faded away like a mix of senility and exhaustion before death from old age, liberated into a freedom that existed to laugh at fabricated situations. He could only achieve excitement by watching men throw balls around, and no longer found purpose except in moving cartoon characters around on a screen. The simulation of life failed to stir the soul, yet was tolerated, adopted, and propagated.

The controls of our most powerful and capable craft were handed to the masses, the same geniuses who consider McDonalds cuisine superior to the best, pay to partake in the excitement of drinking sugar water, and consistently outvote those capable of intelligent judgment.

Efforts were sabotaged by exposure to prole thinking and values taught by marketing, entertainment, and popularism, so those who insisted on positive outcomes were forced to exclude proles and separate from them.

No matter their class or education, they will center every discussion around entertainment products and bad decisions, burying all significance with transitory utterances divorced from culture and ideas, consequently divorcing everyone from culture, leaving a wasteland of inferior products, pointless garbage, non-efforts, and trivialities.

Thus we attack and ignore, unyielding and fervent though we watch others fall in droves.

Differences in Outcome

Mopper are equal too and deserve an equal wage The headlines tell us "CEO pay is 847 times higher than workers" without mentioning whether ambitious and capable youths interested in earning the best income are trying to develop skills needed to be a CEO, to the extent those traits are not innate. Perhaps they will spend several decades, including their most vibrant, angrily protesting about the unfairness of life or society instead of quietly becoming successful.

Other fields have the same vast distances in salary. Professional basketball players can make over $20,000,000 a year for their participation in a game, while the hard working moppers who keep sweat off the court make only $21,000 a year, yet are essential for the event.

The talented athlete makes a thousand times more money than the mopper, at least before sweat mop endorsements are considered, but they are both called equal, and the superstar is seen as oppressing a fellow human into clearing away his perspiration because of his luck in becoming successful.

The star athlete is suspected of cheating the system because he has developed skills that anyone could have achieved from talent and years of playing a sport, except they haven't. They say putting a ball in a hoop is low culture that contributes nothing of considerable value and thus shouldn't be rewarded with wealth, yet mopping up the sweat of that entertainer is important and an essential mark of high civilization deserving statues and an endowed research chair for empowerment and awareness.

With nature's diverse traits banned from consideration, we are forced to devote our search for an explanation of varying outcomes to a secret conspiracy that, if you squint your eyes into strained strabismus, could explain differences between success and failure.

The assumption that superstars are common and trivially replaceable makes it possible to imagine conspiracy and oppression everywhere, promoting some superstars while keeping others down for magical reasons determined at the weekly meetings of secret elites, but not published on their web sites.

Oppression works in mysterious ways we can never understand, yet we surely recognize it everywhere when we need a supernatural explanation divorced from rational scrutiny and evidence.

Narrow assumptions shape and affirm popular conclusions by constraining logic to a repetition of false premises. The rhetorician makes an insane assertion, and then uses that assertion as proof for the conclusion, which is essentially the same as the assertion. There are even entire debates where two or more sides are governed by assumptions that consider truth entirely out of bounds, creating inadvertent comedy with serious looking debaters on stage essentially arguing about precisely how flat the earth is, or how many witches are practicing witchcraft in the town and what methods should be used to get them to stop flying their brooms at night.

Perhaps we should consider whether businesses starved for superstars would scramble at the opportunity to harness the skills of unrecognized superstars by paying them half the going rate and giving them a chance to prove themselves while adding another superstar to their team?

And yet, no unrecognized superstars emerge when called and sought out, and too few exist at the top ranks. It seems we only find those that already exist, although we could cultivate more if we recognized their value and truly wanted more of the best.

Pale Princess

Porcelain skin with fiery red hair. As soon as I met her bright green eyes, I knew she was mine, and I don't even like Irish girls: undirected, compulsive, and disharmonious -- no wonder they are called degenerate and non-European. I prefer a blue-eyed Scot from good reason and experience.

She had a short skirt showing lean athletic legs, sealing the deal. There could be a hundred explanations, all plausible and false, constructed post hoc. The truth was I had decided I wanted her, so the matter was settled, all logistics to be accommodated, charm and attention unleashed in full, her vulnerabilities recognized and exploited to make her mine for a while. There's no need to fake a reason when it's just desire.

Strange stray cats wander to your doorstep, staying for some milk before they meander back to their haunts. Not much different from trash that blows onto your yard, everything needing to get to the place it is going along the path that it takes.

An action without deliberation isn't based on need or sense, just ability to do it. When life has degraded into a purposeless floating without goals, it's little more than a boring waiting game for things to bump into. You can do anything, but only the convenient is chosen, because it's easy, not valuable. Accordingly, no good ending is expected -- it's mostly subsistence socializing without a plan, like trapping animals in the wilderness so you have something to consume for a while before having to move on and get another one.

Sometimes when prey offers themselves up too easily, you begin to wonder what mechanism of nature builds purposeful schemes in being so easily attained, pursuing its own strategy by luring the hubristic with an apparently easy feast, unaware that at the same time the predator is being anchored to unforeseen despair, and perhaps demise.

Stray cats are often misunderstood from their outward appearance and warm response as cute, kind, appreciative creatures. We wish to be deceived by the adorable present, taking no care to consider their pasts and the undisclosed choices that left them scrounging alone.

You rarely see the historic actions that honed them into the savage, desolate, opportunistic animals they really are.

Working Around

On another matter, Hussein stated he only recalls using the telephone on two occasions since March 1990. Additionally, Hussein did not stay at the same location for more than a day, as he was very aware of the United States's significant technological capabilities. Hussein communicated primarily through the use of couriers to communicate or would personally meet with government officials to discuss pertinent issues. Hussein stated that a technologically under-developed country, such as Iraq, was vulnerable to the United States.

Exam Administration

The purpose of a test is to measure fitness to make a determination, not to inform the test taker. Neither do you care for their reaction and defense mechanisms, provoking a sudden interest in faking concern for the necessary in a mad scramble for a few token efforts that appear to "prove" newly established long-term tendencies.

To measure inherent characteristics, a random sample provides an accurate inspection. Giving notice promotes misrepresentation.

What will the future hold? More of the same tendencies demonstrated over the last decade. Send in UN inspectors for an unannounced survey of the scene and rummage historical files. Someone who makes an effort to eat cupcakes has obesity waiting around the corner, even if the corner is 10 or 20 years away. Similarly, someone who enjoys regular vigorous exercise will yield the mental and physical benefits for many decades.

When you announce a measurement will be taken, from which a judgment will be determined, anyone can fake behavior for the duration of the observation. When the measurement ceases, so too will the staged behavior.

Someone wants to make a change will have already done so. That they haven't means they don't care to, and if you try to make them care, they will resist and respond with resentment.

They either effortlessly pass or fail a test assessing their long-term attributes. You don't have to explain why, and if you do, you'll only get drama, explanations, and other useless fraud.

Will they face reality head first? Or bow out with justifications? It will be the same as ever, unchanged.

Say nothing, and act on the outcome. The future is just an extrapolation of the past.

Entitlement Makes Lazy

Entitlement is the curse of everything being so easy you withdraw into safety as your spirit withers. Life is battle and to remain vivid you must be active to fight, feast, and further dreams into demonstrative proof.

Two forms of handouts prodigiously fail:

  1. Vast wealth given to children without rigorous guidance (taking two generations to rise from poverty to wealth, then back to poverty in a generation)

  2. Government handouts of taxpayer wealth to the poor (fueling expectation of endless freebies fused with envy and resentment)

Consider the entitlement of the college educated and white collar worker. Having achieved boring stability by completing courses or showing loyalty to an office environment by performing to expectations, they happily renounce curiosity for life and all will to do anything more interesting than dutiful labor and dulling entertainment.

In the most educated cities, you'll find no one with a thought or aspiration, only successful course takers. But ask them about shows and celebrities and you'll see them suddenly stir awake to tell you all about their deep resources of knowledge for diversions.

Schopenhauer diagnosed the problem of fixation on modernity and the costs incurred from breaking the continuity of culture and knowledge that span centuries.

Every thirty years a new generation appears which knows nothing and then sets about trying to gulp down summarily and as fast as possible all the human knowledge assembled over the millennia, after which it would like to think it knows more than all the past put together. To this end it resorts to universities and reaches out for books, and for the most recent ones too, as being its own contemporaries and fellows of its own age. Everything quick and everything new! as new as it itself is. And then off it goes, loud with its own opinions!

Focusing on the contemporary reduces the span of knowledge to the immediate, not only ignoring the best information and works, but also isolating efforts so none have forebears or any sense of a larger vision. All efforts become the trivial, a new ground floor built atop nothing, constructed from scraps rummaged on an island. Of course they are far inferior to what came before, though this is unknown by those surveying because have no sense of what came before -- they measure only against other inferior efforts.

Education usually goes wasted on inert spirits. Maybe it was always intended to be a throwing of seeds into the wind, knowing most would never take.

A spirit needs curiosity and interest to want to find what is possible, and then to achieve it.

A spirit needs a self-propelled engine to push onward despite circumstances, never pampered and rotting away in idleness. Sloth is a holy sin; you will soon be dead forever, and this is how you treat the gift of your one life ever?

College graduates are barely literate, repeating forms and ideas like robots, unable to critically examine ideas or form their own. The language and ideas they use are not even interesting to them, nor its potential. As a counterexample, a ninth grade dropout from the ghetto finds words interesting and plays with their structure and sounds for many years, figuring them out because he has an interest and enjoyment for knowledge of their possibilities.

He doesn't come up with Shakespeare, but we're not likely to get back to that level of culture given that hypermoderity leaves everyone isolated without any connection to the past. At best, he becomes a rap god creating a higher standard for rhymed word play.

If cornered, what college graduate or office worker could say something creative or interesting? What will the obedient middle class do when the abyss threatens to pull them down? Unfamiliar with action, they will let it happen while effetely wishing it wasn't.

Don't bring an iPhone to a late night alley assault.

The latest page of Aphorisms has been released. In a few hundred years, the book will be complete.

I continue to find ways to short-circuit obstacles and defective spiritual patterns. We benefit from conclusive measurements that judge results, not good intentions that will never be achieved.

Imaginary Worlds

We become unwitting liars, deceiving others and ourselves when being too social. Ready-made cliches are adopted without careful inspection because they are conveniently close at hand and help build plausible explanations for events and sensations. This inadvertent deception subjects innocents to fraud and coercion, making them complicit in a conspiracy to affirm false narratives made binding upon the world through repetition.

Like a good Ponzi scheme, it can run for a while before the dangling loose ends attract someone to pull them, toppling the pyramid of nonsense, in turn making many years of busy work for forensic accountants trying to salvage any lasting remainder of the original value.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

One teenage summer, the second prettiest woman I've ever seen propelled me for months. She was pale and pink with a perfectly feminine face, gorgeous golden hair, sweet eyes, and a tight, fully mature woman's body despite being 14, regularly mistaken as mid-20s by bartenders.

I worked 80 hours a week that summer, talking with her for hours each night after a full day, energized by regular makeout sessions and pulsing desire. Sleep and its need became minimal; work felt like an effortless non-burden, so blissful was she to me. Everything else in the universe seemed insignificant.

For the longest time, I called this phenomenon love and used that experience as its proof, but eventually came to find the same phenomenon appearing with all beautiful women, and entirely lacking from those that were not beautiful. Beauty intoxicates and inspires, but that is not love, for when the beauty is gone, we are neither intoxicated nor inspired, yet fresh new beauty at once revives that wonderful stirring and pull. Nor is it anything special about the person, as all beautiful women produce the same effect during their precious few years of beauty. For such women, college and graduate school are an epic squandering of magic.

We watch silly movies that incorrectly portray love and then in order to lie in accordance with these culture expectations, we repeat common misconceptions to affirm them as truths, reality and factual assessment be damned.

Our wretched attempts at communication become riddled with these intrusions, infused as standards of accepted discourse until they are eventually excised and burned as parasites that mislead, waste time, and leave us blind in exchange for a temporarily pleasant lie.

No mercy for parasites and their enablers!

Anyone Can Play Guitar

Everyone should play at least one instrument. Music is the antidote to technical society and counterargument to people who fiddle with phones and attentively respond to need and noise like the most vulgar slaves.

You can start with pop(ular) music. Pick a few of your favorite songs and get the notes or guitar tab. The instrument is navigated by means of relations -- any system that communicates its relations is a language -- and you'll have to learn the details of geographical and sonic connectivity for yourself either way.

Most pop songs are just a few notes and should be easy to learn. Play them an hour a day and in a 2-3 months you'll be good enough to play shows.

However, the details of musicianship are more delicate. Silence frames signal. Dynamics develop dimensional range. How should a sound begin, end, or sustain? What does a bend on or off change? How do accents alter phrasing? What are the essential aspects of the communication and how should they emerge? How should layers coexist? Only good taste makes good composition.

Notes are just a sketched framework, and technicality just a physical detail. It is the artistry of a good performance that is worth a lifetime of perfection.

Utopian States

No one likes criticism, especially penetrating and accurate criticism that lays bare ideological rhetoric and manipulation used to generate compliance.

Tolerance extends mostly to critiques of no consequence and gossip ("OMG! You won't believe what the state did this weekend with Bulgaria!"). The state doesn't tolerate reforms that limit its infinite scope and capricious power, and permits only ineffective reforms, such as incremental or deferred reforms that remind of Kaczynski's "Ship of Fools".

1. Which is better?

2. Which is better?

3. Which is better?

    a) A banana republic run by an authoritative military, with all elected officials unwittingly acting as advocates of the system because their actions, statements, and positions are measured to prevent retaliation from the powerful state apparatus. All citizens know the situation of elected officials and why they are tragic absurd puppets.

    b) A nation claiming to be free, open, independent, and constantly seeking to express all crucial concerns and opinions, yet secretly spying on lawmakers and officials, and keeping a complete dossier containing all communications they have ever made, with which they can blackmail or publicly attack anyone who takes a position contrary to the desired interests of information collectors.

4. Bonus Question:

Courts have ruled that Americans have no reasonable expectations of privacy when carrying cell phones, and therefore can be tracked without a warrant or probable cause.

Could the published leaks revealing government tracking of all communications, spanning phone calls to internet traffic, be a way of informing the public that they are fully monitored and therefore no longer have reasonable expectation of privacy? Would this end run around the Fourth Amendment mean no warrants or cause is needed to continue monitoring all communication?

Citizens under communism knew they had to repeat nonsense lies in public, but in private everyone knew the system was rotten.

Citizens under democracy have to repeat nonsense lies in public (political correctness of all sorts, equality, and a variety of non-sequitur cause/effect relations that have become doctrine), and in private are left only with faith and hope that the foundations aren't rotten and prolific with termites.

When sacred foundations are more violated than a drunken coed stumbling through an urban center at night, their original premises are unlikely to hold.

Uncreative Patterns

Words aren't needed, advice neither. You can try to point out a harmful pattern of behavior to someone and recommend healthy alternatives, even frameworks for measuring alternatives, only to find they are already aware and agree, yet repeat their small suicides out of comfort, regularity, and ingrained need, creating false expectations and explanations to justify the destructive path they have chosen yet again.

They don't lack intelligence or ability to reason. In fact, their full mental powers are commandeered as weapons to fight against sanity in favor of bad outcomes. Their problems result from a refusal to realistically measure the current situation and its probable outcome, substituting magical thinking in its place.

In a pattern, your outcome will be much like all previous ones.

If you entered a pattern, it was because the cues drew you in, as they have each time prior. If you want to understand a trauma, examine the cues that attract, i.e. the problem you are trying to solve.

Your pattern has a few variables, but you are the constant.

Each time you chase the same thing, have lied to yourself about the qualities of the pattern, inverting good and bad, imagining what isn't there, turning a blind eye to defecating elephants snuggled next to you, and constructing a complex farce you have convinced yourself should be taken seriously.

The mental patient knows all of this, yet repeats the pattern anyway, out of damage and need.

No one can blame us for stepping away from a scheduled cycle of train wrecks.

We become suddenly irrational and stupid, pretending to be unaware of previous structures and formations that yielded better results. We reason that:

  1. Surely everything we are doing now is better, because we have already decided we have progressed and are superior to the best previous creations.
  2. Yet results are worse, showing constantly lower quality, so it must be due to some secret cause, such as oppression.
  3. No one likes oppression (so those who do it are evil and inhuman, worthy of scorn and hateful violence, even confiscation of their earnings) and oppression would surely cause things to be worse, so the cause of all these calamities must be a conspiracy of oppression.
  4. Our poor results have nothing to do with the structure all of our approach (the best possible) or the quality of the people performing it (the finest ever).
  5. Everything about our situation is the greatest possible ever and yet results are not as good as those achieved and sustained in the past until the era of progress.
  6. With more progress we'll have ever better results.
  7. This trajectory only becomes more perfect as we blindly go down an unknown path, rejecting the well known out of spite.

Sweet Poison

Soda is Poison, and you pay for the luxury to become obese and sick Steve Jobs lured John Sculley to Apple from Pepsi with the accusing question of whether he wanted to make a career selling sugar water. Jobs went on to sell noise players, phones for sending fragmented utterances, and glowing screens people could carry around and stare at anywhere they had the danger of a few seconds that might afford calm reflection.

These products help break attention spans on a global scale, wrecking consciousness with a stream of pointless amusement and sentiment inculcation. Made cheap and convenient, this mental stranglehold and addiction enabler could have never been conceived or facilitated by the entertainment industry.

Peddling sugar water and promoting global obesity seems cute and harmless in comparison, causing only a ruined body, barely wrecking the mind and soul.
