When someone demonstrates a thirst for freedom, space, and autonomy, the
Judeo-Christian responds first with clever persuasive double talk, then
anger, then demands, and then finally threats, whether material or
supernatural.
Psychologically, the Judeo-Christian invests their entire life in a
"promised world" rendered so untouchably holy that anyone who mocks
its hollow promise and prefers alternatives is seen as a threat
because they unravel the Judeo-Christian's weltanschauung.
Like a child arguing in favor of monsters so that their imagined fear
can be overtaken by the comfort of another's caring, so too does the
Judeo-Christian invoke complex contradictions to mask a simple need
that has grown into a self-conflicted spiritual cancer. Because they
have turned their backs on
traditionalism,
they ruin everything good they touch and lash out with hate for
those who would be their benefactors.
